The structure will be a slab <br />bridge, supported on a standard 14" piles (if feasible). <br /> <br />1) Provide management services during the redesign of Island Parkway Bridge, including <br />coordination with Caltrans Structures to secure design approval, meet with RE to <br />determine utility relocation issues, and provide City with project schedule and status <br />report. <br /> <br />2) Update 14 sheets of bridge plans and perform structural design analysis and calculations. <br /> <br />3) Prepare quantities and update SSP for structures as required. <br /> <br />4) Prepare a short letter report that will include the pile data table, the analysis results. <br />Perform L-pile analysis for a 14" pile, include the LOTB for the bridges for Caltrans <br />review etc. This work will be performed by Parikh Consultants. <br /> <br />5) Perform independent bridge check. <br /> <br />6) Submit 100% design PS&E to Caltrans Structure for review. <br /> <br />7) Review Caltrans' comments and incorporate Caltrans' comments. <br /> <br />8) Submit Final Approved sets of bridge plans and specification for construction purposes. <br /> <br />Mark Thomas & Company will perform above scope of services for not to exceed $48,000 as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Structures Manager <br />Engineer VII <br />Engineer V <br />Engineer ill <br />Reimbursable Expenses <br />Parikh Consultants <br /> <br />74 hrs @ $166.001hr <br />132 hrs @ $110.001hr <br />110 hrs @ $88.001hr <br />80 hrs @ $74.00/hr <br /> <br />12,284 <br />14,520 <br />9,680 <br />5,920 <br />796 <br />4,800 <br /> <br />Total Estimated Charge <br /> <br />$48,000 <br /> <br />EXHIBIT .L <br />
