Hundred Thousand Dollars ($7,600,000.00). Belmont will actively support issuance of <br />this grant, including but not limited to lobbying the C/CAG. If Belmont is a co-grantee <br />of these funds, Belmont will, and hereby does, assign all of its right, title and interest in <br />all funds awarded by STIP in connection with the Project to Redwood City, and will <br />transfer all and all funds received to Redwood City promptly upon request. <br /> <br />9. To provide all engineering and design services, including but not limited to <br />preparation of complete plans and specifications for the resurfacing of Ralston Avenue <br />from Granada Street to Route 101 (the "Overlay '). Belmont shall notify Redwood City <br />no later than August 11, 2003 whether the contractor shall perform the Overlay. <br /> <br />10. To make arrangements with the Mid-Peninsula Water District for the contractor <br />to obtain water permits and meters for construction of the Project. <br /> <br />11. To allow relocation of sewer, water, telephone and fiber-optic and other utilities <br />within the City of Belmont as directed by the design engineer and City of Redwood <br />City. <br /> <br />12. To issue encroachment permits for work required for the Project within right-of- <br />way owned by the City of Belmont at no cost to the contractor(s) and on Belmont's <br />standard terms and conditions. <br /> <br />13. To accept the improvements constructed as part of the Project within the city <br />limits of the City of Belmont promptly upon completion of the Project and as <br />recommended by the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />14. To maintain all of the improvements constructed as part of the Project that are <br />located outside the State right of way and within the City of Belmont in accordance <br />with a Maintenance Agreement between Belmont and the State, which agreement is to <br />be finalized before construction of the Project is complete. <br /> <br />15. Upon receipt of Redwood City's monthly summary of charges for construction, <br />including but not limited to the Island Parkway Direct Access, the Overlay, to be paid <br />by Belmont as described in Article 12 of Section 1, Belmont will, within fifteen (15) <br />calendar days, transfer funds to Redwood City equal to the amount requested therein. <br />Should Belmont fail to make transfer payments within the three-day period, Redwood <br />City may, at its discretion and after notification to Redwood City, require all subsequent <br />payments by Redwood City to be made as deposits in advance of incurring obligations. <br /> <br />16. To notify Redwood City in writing within seven (7) working days but in no event <br />more than thirty (30) days from receipt of Redwood City's complete billing with <br />supporting information, of any charges with which Belmont disagrees. <br /> <br />17.
