Cost Notes - Page 3 <br /> <br /> Attribution - Manufacturer: Probably manufactured by the Fairmount Glass Works of <br /> Indianapolis, Indiana from 1930 to 1945 (Toulouse 1971:200-202). <br /> <br /> Probable Date of Manufacture: 1930-1945 <br /> <br /> 2/9/96-5 Insulator fragment, "knob and tube wiring" type, porcelain, rectangular with <br /> curved end, top embossed with, "GPCO"; 2 3/8" 1, 11/16" w. 5/8" h. <br /> <br /> Attribution: Manufactured by General Porcelain Company, dating from 1913 to 1927. <br /> The insulators could have originated from East Liverpool, Ohio, New Lexington, Ohio or <br /> Trenton, New Jersey; or later, the Parkersburg, West Virginia headquarters plant. Though <br /> most of the other plants were abandoned, the former G.F. The Principal Investigator will provide overall review. Graph/cs will illustrate a <br />sample of maker's marks or significant objects that cannot be identified for inclusion in the final <br />report if appropriate. Clerical will provide any word processing services. <br /> <br />Task 3 - Research Itistorie Context <br /> <br />This task will focus on developing the historic context of the project. The Research Scientist <br />will head the effort assisted by a Research Archaeologist. Graphics will review and develop any <br />explanatory and illustrative maps and tables.. The Principal Investigator will provide editorial <br />review, coordination and quality control. <br /> <br />Task 4 - Report and Closure <br /> <br />This task will result in an informational and interpretive report discussing the resource and the <br />results of the archaeological monitoring. <br /> <br />The Principal Investigator and Research Scientist will write the report using the information <br />obtained during Tasks 2 and 3. A Research Assistant and Graphics will provide support <br />including completing any figures and photographs used in the report.
