AGREEMENT <br /> FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> [BKF ENGINEERS] <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this \'~'~ day of <br />C'~,,¢~-'-~/ , 2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter <br /> <br /> city and municipal corporation of the State of California ("City"), and BFK ENGINEERS <br /> ("Consultant") (collectively, the "Parties"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to upgrade the Skeleton Water Model east of <br /> Alameda de las Pulgas, in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional water <br /> modeling services services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br /> qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform water modeling <br /> services to upgrade the Skeleton Water Model, and related services further described <br /> in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br /> Consultant for all services performed by Consultant as described in Exhibit A. <br /> <br /> Notwithstanding the foregoing, the combined total of compensation and <br /> reimbursement of costs payable hereunder shall not exceed the sum of Thirty-nine <br /> <br /> F :Arty/Ag r/Ag r. 112 1 <br /> 042203 <br /> <br /> <br />
