AGREEMENT <br /> FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this,,._~''~/~ day of /~'/~ , <br />2003, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal <br />corporation of the State of California ("City"), and KENNEDY/JENKS CONSULTANTS <br />("Consultant"). <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to develop a water demand/wastewater flow <br />estimation methodology for use in the City of Redwood City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires professional <br />consulting engineering services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and is <br />qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform research and <br />evaluation of water demand/wastewater flow estimation methodology, and related <br />services described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference <br />incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br />Consultant for all services performed by Consultant hereunder in an amount based <br />upon Consultant's hourly rates that are prevailing during the time of the performance of <br />said services.
