EXHIBIT - <br /> SPECIAL CONDITIONS OF THE SITE <br /> I. HOURS OF WORK <br /> A. Working hours shall be from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. <br /> 11. PLANS <br /> A. Those certain plans entitled Main Library Light Fixture Replacement Protect consisting of <br /> three (3) sheets, are hereby made a part of this contract. <br /> B. The City's Standard Specifications and Details. <br /> C. California Building Code -2007 shall be made a part of this Contract <br /> D. California Electrical Code -2007 shall be made a part of this Contract <br /> III. TIME OF COMPLETION, INSURANCE & BONDS <br /> A. Time of completion shall be thirty (30) calendar days from the Notice to Proceed. <br /> B. The contractor shall submit a certificate of insurance showing comprehensive workers' <br /> compensation and general liability insurance coverage in the amount of $1,000,000. Such <br /> certificate shall also name the City of Redwood City, its Council, Boards, Commissions, <br /> Officers, Agents and employees as additional insured on the policy as shown in paragraph 7 <br /> of the "Agreement ". <br /> C. Bonds shall be required for this project (see Standard Bond Attachments). Other bond <br /> forms may be used, subject to approval prior to the start of work. <br /> IV. DAMAGES FOR DELAYS <br /> A. Liquidated damages, for the period of time that any portion of the work remains unfinished <br /> after the time fixed for completion in the Contract Documents, as modified by extensions of <br /> time granted by the Owner, it is understood as agreed by the Contractor and the Owner that <br /> the contractor shall pay the Owner Five Hundred and No /100 Dollars ($500.00) per day <br /> liquidated damages. <br /> V. SCOPE OF WORK <br /> A. Remove and dispose of the existing "cake" light fixtures in the Main Library located at 1020 <br /> Middlefield Road as shown on the plans referenced above. <br /> B. Install the same uniform type of either new model 1, 2 or 3 light fixtures as shown on the plans <br /> and connect wiring. <br /> VI, MEASUREMENT & PAYMENT <br /> 1. MOBILIZATION & DEMOLITION <br /> A. Full compensation for all mobilization and demobilization, and demolition and disposal of <br /> existing lights, including labor, materials, tools, and equipment required as necessary will be <br /> paid in the lump sum price for MOBILIZATION AND DEMOLITION <br /> .80(/-* <br />
