7.A. - Page 131 2.0 Project Description
2.1.6 Changes to the Zoning Map
A by-product of the Mixed Use Corridor District Zoning Ordinance Amendment is a related change to the
Zoning Map to implement the boundaries of Mixed Use Corridor as identified in the General Plan Land
Use Map. Since the Mixed Use Corridor Zoning District is a new zone that implements the Mixed Use -
Corridor General Plan land use designation, modifications to the Zoning Map are required. The Mixed
Use Corridor Zoning District is divided into five sub-districts, with associated development and allowable
use standards and regulations. Figure 1 presents these new zoning sub-districts, which represent the
only areas of change to the Zoning Map. The areas identified as one of the Mixed Use Corridor Sub-
Districts directly correlate to those areas identified in the General Plan Land Use Map as Mixed Use -
Corridor, with the exception of areas already covered by the North Main Precise Plan. All General Plan
land use designations were evaluated in the 2010 FEIR for the General Plan.
Redwood City Mixed Use Corridor District 10
Zoning Ordinance Addendum to General Plan FEIR
