MINUTE ORDER <br /> CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br /> <br /> August 11 ~ 2003 <br /> MO. 03-19'1 <br /> <br />CITY CLERK DEPARTMENT <br />Redwood City <br /> <br />DATE: August 12, 2003 <br /> <br />Attention: City Attorney <br /> Engineering Dept. <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Award of Contract - Route 101/Ralston Avenue Interchange <br /> Improvements Project Engineering File No. 803-02. <br /> <br />AGENDA ITEM: 6.1 H <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on August 11,2003. <br /> <br />Present: Council Member Hartnett, Howard, Jordan, Pierce, Vice Mayor Ira <br />and Mayor Claire <br /> <br />Absent: Council Member Ruskin <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes <br /> <br />M/S Hartnett/Howard Approve the Contract Documents and award the contract <br />for Route 101/Ralston Avenue Interchange Improvements Project, to the lowest <br />responsible bidder, O.C. Jones & Sons, Inc. of Berkeley, California, for their Iow <br />bid of $12,426,983.00. And authorize the City Manager to execute Change <br />Orders in the cumulative total not to exceed 10% of the contract amount. <br /> <br />The motion passed by a unanimous roll call vote by all those present. <br /> <br />Patricia S.
