B. Individual components or elements of the system will not be measured for payment, but shall be included in the unit price paid per linear foot (LF) of the trench drain complete in place, and no additional compensation will be made therefore. Trench drain and grate shall be installed per manufacturer's recommendations. BID ITEM 8 - FENCE A. Contractor shall furnish and install the tube fencing as shown on the plans and as directed by the City Engineer in the field. Contractor shall provide cut sheets for review and approval. Fencing shall meet the manufacturer's requirements. B. BID ITEM 9 - PLANTERS A. Contractor shall furnish and install the brick planters as shown on the plans and as directed by the City Engineer in the field. Unit price paid for Planters shall be inclusive of all materials, tools, and equipment necessary to install the planters and the concrete footing as noted on the plans. Contractor shall provide cut sheets for review and approval. B. Full compensation for this work shall be made at the contract unit price paid for this bid item, complete in place, and no additional compensation will be made therefore. BID ITEM 10 - 4" WHITE SOLID THERMOPLASTIC STRIPE A. The contractor shall install the new 4" solid white thermoplastic lines as shown on the plans and as directed by the City Engineer in the field. B. Full compensation for this work shall be made at the contract unit price paid for this bid item, complete in place, and no additional compensation will be made therefore. BID ITEM 11 - 6' X 6.5' TREE WELL AND TREE A. The contractor shall construct the tree well to the dimensions shown on the contract drawings and as directed by the City Engineer in the field. Unit price paid for this item shall be inclusive of all materials, tools, and equipment necessary to install the tree wells and trees complete and in place. B. Individual components or elements of the system will not be measured for payment, but shall be included in the unit price paid for this item, and no additional compensation will be made therefore. Full compensation for this item shall include the installation of the concrete curbs, excavation, native soil planting mix, London Plane "Platanus x acerifolla" trees, and all appurtenant tools and materials necessary to install the tree wells and trees complete and in place. City reserves the right to change the tree selection if there is limited availability.
