A <br /> <br />Meeting of the Council of the City of Redwood City on July 21, 2003. <br /> <br />Present: Council Member Hartnett, Howard, Pierce, Ruskin, and <br />Mayor Claire <br /> <br />Absent: Vice Mayor Ira <br /> <br />The following motion was made, carried and entered on the Minutes <br /> <br />M/S Ruskin/Pierce The City Council place a measure on the ballot in November <br />of this year that calls for increasing the City's transient occupancy tax rate from <br />8% to 10%. <br /> <br />The motion passed by a majority roll call vote, with Council Member Hartnett <br />abstaining, and Council Member Jordan voting no. <br /> <br />Patricia S.
