07/14/2003 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14535 <br />RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A SALARY SCHEDULE AND WAGE <br />PLAN FOR THE POSITIONS OF POLICE OFFICER AND POLICE <br />OFFICER TRAINEE; AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 13727 AND <br />ANY ALL AMENDMENTS PERTAINING THERETO <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS <br />FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the Memorandum of Understanding by and between the City of <br />Redwood City and the Redwood City Police Officers Association, for the period of <br />September 1, 2002 to August 31, 2005, is hereby approved, and the City Manager is <br />hereby authorized to execute same. <br />2. Effective with the first full pay period beginning on or after September 1, <br />2002, the monthly salary rates in dollars, and the hourly equivalent rates thereof, as set <br />forth in Exhibit 'A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein, are <br />hereby established for each of the employee positions within the employment <br />classifications of Police Officer and Police Officer Trainee as set forth in Exhibit A for <br />the designated steps thereof for the period September 1, 2002 to and including August <br />31, 2005. <br />3. Employees granted part-time appointments to positions in the <br />employment classifications of Police Officer and Police Officer Trainee as set forth in <br />Exhibit A shall be compensated on an hourly basis in accordance with the salary rates <br />set forth in said Exhibit for the period therein designated. <br />F:Atty /Reso /Reso.1405 1 14535 <br />070903 <br />
