Proposed use of fiscal year 2010 -2011 Citizens Option for Public <br />Safety /Supplemental Law Enforcement Services Funds (COPS /SLESF) grant <br />by the Redwood City Police Department and budget appropriation to the <br />general fund budget <br />Recommendation: <br />Conduct a Public Hearing, and by resolution, approve the recommendation of the <br />Police Chief to expend $100,000 in Fiscal Year 2010 -2011 COPS /SLESF grant <br />funding towards police training and equipment. <br />RESOLUTION No. 15115 OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AUTHORIZING THE <br />POLICE CHIEF TO EXPEND $100,000 OF COPS /SLESF FUNDS IN FISCAL YEAR <br />2010 -2011 <br />Mayor Ira introduced Chris Cesena as the interim Police Chief. Steve Blanc, <br />Administrative Police Sergeant, provided a brief overview of the item detailing where the <br />funds would be spent. <br />Mayor Ira opened the Public Hearing. There was no public comment. <br />M/S Foust /Bain to close the Public Hearing. Motion carried by unanimous voice vote. <br />M/S Foust /Aguirre to approve the resolution. Motion carried unanimously by <br />electronic vote. <br />8. STAFF REPORT(S) <br />Council Member Foust recused herself for this item and left the dais at 7:23 p.m <br />A. Saltworks Project <br />Recommendation: <br />1. Receive an informational briefing on the proposed Saltworks Project <br />development review process, no action required. <br />2. Approve the First Amended and Restated Reimbursement and Processing <br />Agreement By and Between the City of Redwood City and DMB Redwood <br />City Saltworks LLC, which relates to the environmental review and <br />planning process for the proposed Saltworks Project, subject to minor <br />revisions approved by the City Attorney. MINUTE ORDER #11 -068 <br />3. Approve the following amendments to professional services agreements <br />for the purpose of continuing the review and processing of applications for <br />the Saltworks development review process and related environmental <br />review for the fiscal year July 2011 to June 2012: <br />a.
