<br /> 5.36 <br /> REPORT Page 1 <br /> To the Honorable Mayor and City Council <br /> From the City Manager <br /> July 24. 2006 <br /> Subject <br /> Mezesville Historic District <br /> Recommendation <br /> Adopt a resolution designating the Mezesville Historic District in conformance with Council <br /> action of May 8, 2006. <br /> Background <br /> On May 8,2006, theCityCouncUunanimously approved designating the area described <br /> below as the Mezesville Historic District: <br /> (1) approved the March 21, 2006 recommendation of the Planning Commission in <br /> whole and designated the subject area as an historic district, per the Redwood City <br /> Historic Preservation Ordinance; and, <br /> (2) adopted the findings in conformance with Section 40.6 of the Historic Preservation <br /> Ordinance. <br /> At such time as the City Council decides to approve an application for designation of an <br /> historic district, Redwood City Municipal Code Section 40.7.H requires the City Council to <br /> act by resolution.
