Items Provided bv Permittee: <br /> (a) The Permittee will notify all residents along the bike route of the <br /> parking restrictions by 5:00 p.m. Friday August 4, 2006. <br /> (b) The Permittee will pay for the services of two police officers for traffic <br /> control from 8:00 a.m. until 1 :00 p.m. <br /> (c) The Permittee will be responsible for providing, placing, and collecting <br /> all cones involved in this event. <br /> (d) The Permittee, under the final direction of the police department, will <br /> mark and post the affected streets with "No Parking" signs by 5:00 p.m. <br /> on Friday, August 4, 2006. The signs will state that parking will be <br /> prohibited on Sunday August 6, 2006 from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. <br /> 13. Additional Matters: This event is not a race. Therefore, all participants will <br /> obey traffic laws and yield to pedestrians and vehicular traffic where <br /> appropriate. Additional or further matters not herein described or <br /> contemplated in connection with the "Tour de Peninsula" shall not be <br /> effectuated without the prior written consent of the Police Chief. <br /> 14. AcceDtance: This permit shall not be effective until fully executed by all <br /> parties hereto and accepted by the Permittee and returned to the City. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Carlos G.
