C�.I A-3 AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO — AGREEMENT FOR LEGAL SERVICES (Green, de Bortnowsky & Quintanilla, LLP)) T.�is Amendment No: 1 is entered into and effective as of the day of May, ' 2004, amending the Agreement dated April ?3,_2003 (the "Agreement") by and between - the REDWOOD CITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY, a public body, corporate and politic, of the State of Califomia (the "Agenc�'), the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a charter city and municipal corporation of the State of Califomia (the "City") and GREEN, de BORTNOWSKY & QUINTANILLA, LLP, a professional corporation, engaged in the practice of law in Calabasas, California (herein called "Special Counsel") (collectively, the "Parties"). : RECITALS WHEREAS, Special Counsel has performed the services under the Agreement to the satisfaction of the Agency and the City; and WHEREAS, the Agency continues to require Special Counsel's professional services; and WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement to increase the not-to- exceed amount of the Agreement by one hundred thousand doliars ($100,000.00). NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: 1. That the Agreement is hereby amended to increase the combined total of the compensation and reimbursement costs by a not-to-exceed amount of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00). 2. All other provisions of the Agreement will remain in full force and effect. 3. All requisite insurance policies to be maintained by tk�e Special Counsel pursuant to the Agreement will include coverage for this Amendment. 4.
