All mar��er of,local services have been negatively impacted by the continual drain <br /> of local tax dollars. <br /> The Local Taxpayers and Public Safety Protection Act aims to resWre faimess and balance to the <br /> system. It dces not raise taxes; does not increase revenues to locai govemments; dces not prevent <br /> more comprehensive refortn of state and local govemment fiscal relationship; and does not take away <br /> funding for other state-programs and services like schools or transportation.
