A new grant for comr�unity building was received from 10,OOJ <br /> Peninsuta Community Foundation. Appropriations must now <br /> be established to enable the staff to accurately manage this <br /> grant. <br /> 2. Library <br /> A. Seven new grants for Project Read were received. 207,598 <br /> Appropriations must now be established to enable the staff to <br /> accurately manage this grant. <br /> B. A new grant for books and materials from Redwood City 13,000 <br /> Library Foundation was received. An appropriation must now <br /> be established to enable staff to accurately manage these <br /> grants. <br /> C. The Library reorganized the casual staff resulting in a change <br /> in expenditures from the Collection Access and Processing <br /> Unit to the Circulation Unit. This change was implemented <br /> -- after the adoption of the budget and has been approved by <br /> the Library Board. <br /> Collection Access and Processing (64,962) <br /> Circulation 64,962 <br /> D. The Library has estimated employee cost savings for the year <br /> and requests reallocation of those savings so that these funds <br /> may be utilized to purchase various furniture and equipment <br /> items along with needed operating supplies.
