These funds will <br /> be used to provide citywide accessibility improvements to residences occupied by <br /> homeowners and renters who are physically challenged, are elderly and fragile, or are non- <br /> elderly but have disabilities. <br /> '" $ 50,000 CDBG Home Improvement Loan Program Support <br /> City of Redwood City. These funds will pay program support costs for the operation to make <br /> loans in the Home Improvement Loan Programs and Housing Counseling Programs. <br /> Eligible costs are limited to loans, staff, supplies and support costs directly related to carrying <br /> out citywide loan programs. <br /> $ 69,150 HOME HOME CHDO Setaside <br /> Funds are reserved for use by a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO). <br /> $ 87,000 CDBG Kainos Hillside Stabilization Project <br /> Kainos Home and Training Center, 3631 Jefferson Avenue, Redwood City. These funds will <br /> be used for soils and structural engineering reports and subsequent installation of piers to <br /> stabilize the hillside from erosion and prepare the site for construction of six independent <br /> living units for persons with disabilities. <br /> $346,712 HOME Landbanking <br /> These funds will be allocated for acquisition of a site for an affordable senior housing <br /> development. <br /> $354,850 CDBG Landbanking <br /> These funds are reserved for use by First Community Housing & Peninsula Habitat for <br /> Humanity pending selection as developer for the EI Camino Vera Street Project. If this <br /> �--- developer is not selected, the HHCC will consider other requests for site acquisition for a <br /> senior housing development. <br /> 1 <br />
