Cress Bird Bath Fund" for use in the Redwood City Park <br /> System <br /> Council Member Bain stated that G.R. Cress had a handwritten will written in 1976 <br /> and was a bird lover, donating money to the City to build birdbaths and maintain <br /> them, indefinitely, with the sum of $1.2 million dollars. Council Member Bain stated <br /> his concem that this donation be publicly acknowledged as a generous gift to the <br /> City. <br /> Recommendation <br /> It is recommended that Council, by motion, agree to accept the final distribution of <br /> the proceeds from the estate of Gene Robert Cress and use the funds to <br /> establish the "G.
