<br /> 7.A- 2g §) <br /> MEMORANDUM <br /> COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT <br /> ENGINEERING DIVISION <br /> TO: Planning DATE: May 28, 1997 <br /> FROM: Engineering <br /> RE: PLANNED DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND <br /> TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION MAP - 1424 AND 1436 VALOTA ROAD <br /> 8 UNIT TOWNHOUSE TYPE SUBDIVISION <br /> ENGINEERING FILE NO. 805..04 <br /> Engineering and Construction reviewed the Planned Development Plans and the Tentative <br /> Subdivision Map for the .subjeGLsubdivision, -and we request the following items be included in <br /> the Conditions of Approval:--References are made throughout these Tenns & Conditions to the <br /> City's "Engineering.5tandards"c-("the-Etandards"f--adopted December 16, 1991. This three <br /> volume set is available-at the Engineering--and Construction office. <br /> A. SOILS <br /> Soils reports shall be prepared and submitted to Engineering and Construction in <br /> accordance with the applicaole paragraphs of Volume III Part II, of the Standards. <br /> The soils report which was submitted with the Tentative Subdivision Map does not <br /> indicate exploration along and in the vicinity of the creek, along the southerly line of <br /> Lots 5,- 6, 7 and 8. This area should be investigated for uncompacted, deposited soil to <br /> eliminate the possibility of future settlements by taking corrective action if necessary. <br /> B GRADING <br /> 1. Grading, preparation of Rough Grading Plan and Plot and Finish Grading Plan shall <br /> confonn to Volume III Part II of. the Standards. <br /> 2. The developer shall provide dust control for the entire area at all times. The areas <br /> shall be sprinkled as necessary to prevent dust nuisance. In the event the <br /> developer neglects to use adequate measures to control dust, the City shall take <br /> whatever measures are necessary to control dust and charge the cost to the <br /> developer. <br /> 3. During construction, the City streets shall be cleaned as often as required to <br /> remove any accumulation of mud and debris resulting from this construction. If <br /> 1 <br />
