A. Submittal of Equalized Generai Improvement District 1-64 Assessment Roll — <br /> Board of Equalization <br /> Financial Services Accountant Greenhom explained the annual process and that <br /> all property owners received a letter explaining the process and any questions <br /> can be directed to the Financial Services Division. <br /> Mayor Ira opened the public hearing. <br /> Public Comment: <br /> John Murphy, resident and homeowner of GID 1-64 for 35 years, reminded the <br /> City Council that it wears dual hats, one that of Board of Directors of the <br /> General Improvement District. He thanked Alison Freeman for the copy of the <br /> report that is also available at Sandpiper School for anyone who might care to <br /> find the value of the properties. He encouraged promoting voter registration in <br /> the area and complimented the Council in its approach to the Marina Shores <br /> development. <br /> M/S Foust/Bain to close the public hearing. The motion passed by a <br /> unanimous voice vote. <br /> M/S Ruskin/Howard to accept the equalized assessment roll for the General <br /> Improvement District 1-64 for the 2004-05 fiscal year. The motion passed by a <br /> unanimous voice vote by those present. BOE MINUTE ORDER 04-01 <br /> B. Fiscal Year 2004/2005 Budget <br /> Financial Services Director Ponty explained that the ordinance to introduce the <br /> budget that City Council reviewed and conceptually approved at the June 21 <br /> and 28 study sessions is before the Council. As a result of Council direction, <br /> at the end of September or early October staff will return with $1 million <br /> dollars of combined options for increasing revenues and reducing <br /> expenditures in the General Fund. The Redevelopment Agency being a <br /> separate legal entity will have its budget presented later in the agenda for <br /> separate consideration. <br /> Mayor Ira opened the public hearing. No public comment received. <br /> M/S Ruskin/Bain to close the public hearing.
