. 8-I <br /> �I <br /> � �� <br /> � �� <br /> ���� ����������������� ����������� <br /> -� ��� ��� �� ������r <br /> June 7, 2004 <br /> Subject <br /> Final Acceptance — Water Main Improvements - Westport Office Park — Phase 3 <br /> Recommendation <br /> Accept, by motion, the water main improvements for Westport Office Park — Phase 3, <br /> and provide the maintenance bonds in accordance with Section 7 of the Construction <br /> Agreement. <br /> Background <br /> Westport Joint Venture received construction approval for the water main <br /> improvements for the Westport Office Park — Phase 3. <br /> Westport Joint Venture has completed the construction of the improvements in <br /> accordance with the Agreement, the Contract Documents, and to the satisfaction of <br /> Engineering and Construction. Staff recommends acceptance of the improvements. <br /> They have also submitted, for acceptance (under separate cover), the public service <br /> easement for the improvements, to allow City personnel to maintain the public <br /> improvements in the future. . <br /> The "public" improvements over refuse have a minimum two year warranty.
