C�. 2 A. <br /> � <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY- <br /> OWNED PROPERTY SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING <br /> SALE THEREOF - <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal property listed <br /> on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such property is not needed <br /> for present or prospective municipal or public purposes, and should be declared <br /> surplus; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and determined that <br /> the current reasonable market value of the total of each of the surplus items to be sold <br /> as a unit is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000); and <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of th�s Council to declare said property <br /> surplus and authorize its sale in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City <br /> of Redwood City. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that those items listed on <br /> Exhibit A are surplus; that they are no longer necessary or required for municipal or <br /> public purposes; and that the appraised value of the total of each of the items to be sold <br /> as a unit is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000). <br /> 2. This Council hereby authorizes the sale of the City-owned property described <br /> in Exhibit A in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City. <br /> 3.
