<br /> {P. \D~3 <br /> l:xhibit "A" <br /> June 14, 2004 <br /> Mr. Bob Slusser <br /> Peninsula Celebration Association <br /> 814 Hamilton Street <br /> Redwood City, CA 94063 <br /> Dear Mr. Slusser: <br /> The City Council on June 14,2004, has authorized me to issue this letter permitting <br /> the Peninsula Celebration Association (PCA) to conduct the 4th of July Parade, <br /> Festival, Arts & Crafts Fair, and Fireworks Display. These events are subject to and <br /> in accordance with the terms and conditions herein. <br /> Permission is granted to the Peninsula Celebration Association ("Permittee"), by the <br /> City of Redwood City ("City"). This permit is subject to the following terms and <br /> conditions: <br /> 1. Parade, Festival Arts & Crafts Fair, and Fireworks Display: Permittee <br /> shall sponsor said activities. <br /> 2. Revocation: This permit may be revoked at any time without cause by the' . <br /> City. <br /> 3. Non-Transferability: This permit is non-transferable. <br /> <br /> 4. Location: The parade herein permitted shall be conducted and the route <br /> reserved therefore in the areas shown on the attached map of the letter <br /> .dated April 30, 2004. The fair and festival herein permitted shall be <br /> conducted and the streets reserved therefore on Jefferson Avenue from <br /> Veterans Boulevard to Marshall Street and Bradford Street from Main Street <br /> to Middlefield Road. In conjunction with the fireworks display, the Police <br /> Department will implement street closures, and traffic control measures <br /> needed to maintain orderly vehicular traffic. <br /> 1 <br /> - <br />
