<br /> w.z A -5 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING THE AMENDED JOB <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE CLASSIFICATIONS OF PUBLIC <br /> WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER 1/11, PUBLIC ~"'ORKS <br /> MAINTENANCE WORKER III, LEAD PUBLIC WORKS <br /> MAINTENANCE WORKER, TREE MAINTENANCE WORKER 1111, <br /> TREE MAINTENANCE LEADER, FIRE PREVENTION OFFICER <br /> AND THE DELETION OF OBSOLETE CLASSIFICATIONS OF <br /> LEAD CONSTRUCTION SPECIALIST, BUILDING INSPECTOR <br /> 1111, PLAN CHECKER 1/11 AND POLICE PROPERTY CLERK <br /> WHEREAS, job specifications for the positions of Public Works <br /> Maintenance Worker 1/11, Public Works Maintenance Worker III, Lead Public <br /> Works Maintenance Worker, Tree Maintenance Worker 1/11, Tree Maintenance <br /> Leader, Fire Prevention Officer have been amended by the Human Resources <br /> Department to allow for more flexibility within the classification and updating the <br /> job requirements; and <br /> WHEREAS, Human Resources Department has determined that the <br /> classifications of Lead Construction Specialist, Building Inspector 1111, Plan <br /> Checker I1II and Police Property Clerk are now obsolete; and <br /> WHEREAS, the proposed job specifications and eliminations have been <br /> reviewed and approved by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU); <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the Council has reviewed said specifications and desires to <br /> evidence approval thereof. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> Atty/Reso/Reso.1471 <br /> 060204 1 <br />
