<br /> 6.38 <br /> Page 4 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> RESOLUTION TO ADOPT ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY ON UTILITY <br /> WATER CREDITS FOR THE ADJUSTMENT OF WATER BILLS <br /> WHEREAS, when an unusually significant increase in a customer's water usage <br /> occurs, a customer or the City may suspect and subsequently discover a water leak; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the City is willing to provide some relief to its customers that <br /> expediently and conscientiously repair the water leak; and <br /> WHEREAS, previously, the City has implemented a practice for handling water <br /> utility credits, and the procedures for requesting and obtaining a water leak credit are <br /> set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City desires that this practice and these procedures be formally <br /> recognized and adopted. <br /> NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. That Exhibit A, now heretofore referred to as The Administrative Policy on <br /> Utility Water Credits (Policy), is hereby formally adopted, and the Director of Finance or <br /> designee shall be authorized to administratively amend the Policy from time to time. <br /> 2.
