Purchase of Downtown parking meters <br /> Staff contact: Dan Zack, Downtown Development Coordinator 780-7363 dzack@redwoodcity.org <br /> Recommendation: <br /> 1. By resolution, authorize sole source purchase of LUKE model "pay-by-space" <br /> parking meters (manufactured by Digital Payment Technologies of Vancouver, <br /> Canada) for an amount of $402,957 and suspend the requirements of Article <br /> VII, PURCHASING, Chapter 2 of the Municipal Code governing competitive <br /> bidding. <br /> 2. By resolution, appropriate $402,957 from the Parking Fund for the purchase of <br /> LUKE parking meters. <br /> 3. By motion, authorize staff to execute an agreement with Digital Payment <br /> Technologies for the purchase of forty (40) LUKE model parking meters in the <br /> amount of $402,957. <br /> 4.
