6.2B <br /> Page 3 <br /> RESOLUTtON N0. <br /> RESULUTION ESTABLISHiNG AN APPRC?PR1ATfON REPRESENTING <br /> ANTlCIPATED GRANT REVENUE FROM THE 2002 RESOURCES <br /> BON� ACT GRANT AND ADDtNG QNTICIPATED GRANT REVENUE <br /> INTO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET FOR <br /> APPROPRIATION <br /> WHEREAS, THE City Council of Redwood City adopted Resolution Na 14721 <br /> approving its Fiscal Year 2006-2007 budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Community Development Services Departmenf is requesting <br /> additional funding in the amount of Five Hundred Forty Two Thousand Six Hundred Ten <br /> and No/100 Dallars ($542,610.OQ) for the inclusion of the 2002 Resource Bond grant <br /> funds inta the City's Capital Improvement Budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the State of Caiifomia Qepar#ment of Park and Recreation has <br /> authorized the City to proceed with expenditures of the 2002 Resources Bond Act Grant <br /> in the same amount; and <br /> WHEREAS, #he Ci#y Counci! awarded a construction contract on June 9, 2046, to <br /> expend portions of these funds_ <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESt�LVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CiTY OF <br /> REDWOO�C1TY, AS FOLL(3WS: <br /> 1. The Finance Director shall establish an appropriation in the amount of <br /> $542,610 representing anticipated grant revenue and shall include said anticipated <br /> revenue in the Capifal Improvement Projects fund. <br /> 2.
