Only one application per qualifYing public entity will be accepted. An application may include multiple tin7derived products/projects. ELIGIBLE PRODUCTS/PROJECTS Eligible Tire-Derived Products (TOP) are made from 100% recycled California waste tires. Tire buffings are not eligible for reimbursement under the TOP Grant Program. Tire buffings may be used in the product/project, but will not be reimbursed by CIWMB. Note: See application cover sheet for a non-inclusive list of eligible TDPs. NUMBER OF TIRES DIVERTED . Minimum of2.500 CA tires diverted per proposed tire-derived products/projects · An application may include multiple products/projects to achieve a combined minimum of2,500 CA tires diverted AVAILABLE FUNDS . $ 2,400,000 available for FY 2006/2007 . $ 100,000 maximum available per grant . Up to $7 per tire diverted. with priority given to applications whose projects have ~ a8 aetHal cost per tire of $5 or less. APPLICATION DEADUNE Applications must be postmarked or, if hand-delivered, date stamped by the California Integrated Waste Management Board (CIWMB) no later than November 15.2006 September 15,2006. Hand delivered applications will be accepted at CalIEP A Headquarters Building located at 100 I "I" Street, Sacramento, CA until 3:00 p.m. on November 15.2006 September U;, 1006. Faxed or e-mailed applications wiH not be accepted. Late applications will be returned and will not be considered for grant funding. Applications mailed or sent by u.s. Postal Service or a commercial delivery service should be sent by a means that allows for tracking by the sender and that provides an addressed and dated receipt. demonstrating mailing to the CIWMB's address.
