She said there must be safeguards to keep them in the City. <br /> Chair Foust sai he fully supports what Commissioner Piulle said, and asked Mr. <br /> Passanisi for direct n in the process. <br /> Mr. Passanisi said bas d on Chair FousYs recommendation, staff will combine the Study <br /> and all comments int one document and present it to the City Council, and <br /> recommending it go back the Planning Commission. <br /> Chair Foust said it makes se e that the City Council just look at this Study from a policy <br /> and procedure stand point a then have it come back to the Planning Commission. <br /> Chair Foust said Council need to know the Commission is not done, and in order to <br /> move to the next step, let them ow why we're not done, and where we're hope to go <br /> with it. <br /> Commissioner Garcia said even havin Plan Concepts A, B and C, we don't know where <br /> we're going. We can listen to people at have interest on these particular properties, <br /> but we can't let that sway us as to what e want for Redwood City. He said, as far as <br /> the Century Park Theater, he can't see ho �ng at all. <br /> Mr. Passanisi pointed out to the Commissio that there is a recommended land use <br /> concept in the Study (Page 27), which is refinin Plan Concept B. However, sensing the <br /> Commission wants input from City Council first, h said he would get the information. <br /> Commissioner Seybert asked Chair Foust if she was eeking input from the City Council, <br /> and if so, it might be more advantageous to have a oint Study Session with the City <br /> CounciL <br /> Chair Foust and the Commissioners agreed that sta should take Chair FousYs <br /> recommendation to the City Counci�, and that there should b a Joint Study Session with <br /> the City Council. <br /> Pat Dixon, Redwood Shores resident, commented that she wa d to stress that there <br /> should be a non-motorized pathway along the waterfront, included the Study. <br /> Chair Foust said her comment would be included with thp additional c ments. <br /> 5.
