Powers and Associates, Inc. is pleased to present this revised scope of work for the
preparation of an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the Sequoia Hospital Medical Campus
Master Plan/Precise Plan project. We have incorporated the information discussed in our meeting
i with you and Curtis Williams on Tuesday: more detail about project management and the project
team; added hours for hearings and preparation of the Final EIR; a more detailed budget; and work
products examples from Previsualists Unlimited, the subconsultant we propose to prepare the
photosimulations. We have also included, for your informarion, a copy of the Regional Medical
Genter Expansion Draft and Final EIR, a current hospital expansion project that Nora Monette has
 managed.
As described in the attached experience summaries, we have a wealth of cunent experience on
hospital projects. We recently prepared the Final EIR for the Regional Medical Center Expansion
project in San Jose, and we have written EIIts for the Kaiser Permanente Santa Clara Medical Center,
the O'Connor Hospital Master Plan in Santa Clara, and the Kaiser Permanente Emeryville Medical
' Center. Through this experience, we are aware of the environmental issues that are specific to the
hospital use, including space utilizarion, trip generation, parking, noise, helipad planning, and
hazardous material use and generarion.
We look forward to the opportunity to work with the City of Redwood City on this worthwhile
project. Please call me with any questions about this scope, or if I can provide you with additional
 information.
Sincerely,
1 e

 Judy W.
