HTH Bayshore will have an on-site Transportation 20 trips per each 44 <br /> Assistance Center. The center will be responsible for 200 students = 40 <br /> assisting students/families to help them find the best method credits <br /> of transportation to the school. <br /> a. The Transportation Assistance Center will be I credit for each <br /> staffed to help students from 30 minutes before additional feature <br /> school starts to 30 minutes after school ends on a = 4 credits <br /> daily basis (8:30 am - 4:30 pm) <br /> b. Transit brochures will be available. <br /> c. Internet access to transit infonnation will be <br /> available <br /> d, On-site transit ticket sales will be provided <br /> e. The center will assist with organizing carpooling <br /> for those who are interested in carpooling. (see <br /> attached example ofHTH San Diego program). <br /> Organizations like Peninsula Congestion Relief <br /> Alliance will be utilized for assistance with <br />! optimizing the carpooling program. <br />I <br />I <br /> ') A transportation education program will be included in I credit 45 <br /> student/parent orientation each fall which identifies safe <br /> routes to schools, educates parents and students on public <br /> transportation options such as CAL Train and SAMTrans. <br /> At this orientation meeting we will also offer coordination <br /> servIces for families wishing to carpool. <br /> 3, HTHB will work with Peninsula Congestion Relief Alliance 10 credits 55 <br />, to develop a Transportation Action Plan.
