These revisions are included in the above services, Discovered conditions that require redesign of the major gravity and lateral load resisting systems, however, is excluded. The following services are specifically excluded from the basic services agreement. . Redesign to reduce construction cost where the reason for the excessive cost is outside the control of the Structural Engineer. . Redesign services required by major changes in architectural design. . Redesign services requested to accommodate particular construction materials, methods or sequences. . Services resulting from corrections or revisions required because of deviations from the Contract Documents by the contractor during construction. . Services in connection with a public hearing, arbitration proceeding or legal proceeding. . Services necessitated by fire or other damage during construction. . Services requested after completion of the structural part of the project. . Design or review of contractor's construction related equipment, methods or means. FEE PROPOSAL Based on th'3 project description, scope of services. and project schedule, DES proposes to provide professional design and engineering services on a Lump Sum Basis in the amount of $13.000. Reimbursable expenses: Included as part of DES architectural fee.
