From March 1 through October 31, with the exceptions of weekly <br /> visual inspections and Secchi disk measurements of clarity, the water quality field <br /> measurements and sample collections were conducted monthly. <br /> . ; <br /> .4r 411 <br /> t,; <br /> • <br /> nr A V Li, <br /> o The General Water Quality Sampling Locations, Parameters, and Frequency <br /> per the Redwood Shores Lagoon Management Plan are outlined as follows: <br /> • General water quality measurements of dissolved oxygen, clarity (as <br /> turbidity), salinity, pH, temperature would occur during the months of April <br /> through September. <br /> • Aquatic pesticide monitoring is outlined under Task 2 below. <br /> • Nutrient monitoring for nitrate as N and dissolved ortho - phosphate as P, will <br /> be tested at stations R -1 through R -5 during the period of April 1 through <br /> September 30. <br /> • Turbidity monitoring of R -1 through R -5 year -round on a monthly basis <br /> • Fecal coliform bacteria will be measured monthly year -round at two locations: <br /> • R -1 and R -2 <br /> • Salinity and temperature will be included with all of these measurements <br /> because they are easy and inexpensive to collect and provide a general sense <br /> of water conditions. <br /> • During each sampling, observations will be recorded regarding floatables, <br /> oil /grease films and scum, water discoloration, algae and aquatic plant growth, <br /> and any presence of dead birds or fish. <br /> 2011 Redwood Shores Lagoon Water Quality Monitoring Proposal <br /> Page 10 of 18 <br /> General Services Agreement between the City of Redwood City and Clean Lakes <br /> 6 of , Inc. - Exhibit A 07/01/2011 <br /> Pa ge <br />
