oRO�a��.:� <br /> AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br /> TO EXTEND AGREEMENT FOR <br /> 2011-2012 Utility Trench Repair Project <br /> Bay Area Paving, Inc. <br /> This Arp m nt No. 1 is entered into and effective as of the � day of <br /> _, 201��ctending the agreement dated June 27. 2011 (the <br /> "Agreement") an between the City of Redwood City, a charter city and municipal <br /> corporation of t e ate of California ("City"), and Bay Area Paving, inc., ("Contractor") <br /> (collectively, the "Pa ies") for performing utility trench repair services. <br /> RECITALS <br /> A. On June 27, 2011, the Parties executed an Agreement for the Utility <br /> Trench Repair Project; in the amount of$231,770.00 and <br /> B. The Parties desire to extend the Agreement in the amount of $239,163.46 <br /> for a period of one year through July 5, 2013. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of these recitals and the mutual covenants <br /> contained herein, the Parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. Contractor will provide those services described in the Agreement. With <br /> this Amendment, the total aggregate Agreement amount shall not exceed Four Hundred <br /> Seventy Thousand Nine Hundred Thirty Three and 46/100 dollars ($470,933.46). <br /> 2. City will pay Contractor for all work associated with those services <br /> described in the Agreement on a unit bid price basis not-to-exceed Two Hundred Thirty <br /> Nine Thousand One Hundred Sixty Three dollars and 46/100 dollars ($239,163.46). <br /> Contractor will provide City, on a monthly basis, copies of invoices sufficiently detailed to <br /> include work performed, unit bid rates, and related activities and costs for approval by <br /> C ity. <br /> 3. Contractor will perform tasks described in the Agreement through July 5, <br /> 2013. <br /> 4. All other provisions of the Agreement, as may have been amended from <br /> time to time, will remain in full force and effect. <br /> 5.
