An accessory dwelling is an attached or detached <br /> residential unit (secondary dwelling unit) on the same lot as a primary dwelling unit which <br /> provides complete, independent living facilities for living, sleeping, eating, cooking, and <br /> sanitation provided that it complies with the requirements of Article 37. <br /> 2..b-- Accessory Use, Building, or Structure. A use, building, or structure subordinate <br /> to the principal use on the same building site and serving a purpose customarily incidental to <br /> the principal use or structure, such as garage and storage buildings. <br /> 2.7 Administrative Office and Service Facility. An office or other structure or service <br /> facility for rendering management level administrative services for firms and institutions <br /> including, but not limited to, regional and headquarter management services. <br /> 2-.8—Agriculture. The term "agriculture" includes farming, dairying, pasturage, <br /> apiaries, horticulture, floriculture, viticulture, and animal and poultry husbandry. <br /> 2.9 Alley. A public right of way less than thirty (30) feet in width which affords a <br /> Secondary mcUns of access to property. <br /> Alley. A public or private roadway or easement, generally not more than 30 feet wide <br /> that provides vehicle access to the rear or side of parcels having other public street frontage, <br /> and is not intended for general traffic circulation. <br /> 2.10 Agent of Owner. A person who submits a written statement from a property <br /> owner authorizing him to act for the property owner. <br /> 2.11 Antenna. A device used to receive or transmit telecommunications or radio <br /> signals, mounted on the ground as an independent structure or attached to another <br /> structure, including, but not limited to, panels, single plies ( "whips "), broadcasting masts and <br /> aerials, and microwave dishes. <br /> Assembly /Meeting Facilities (land use). A facility for public or private assembly and <br /> meetings. Examples of these uses include: <br /> • banquet rooms <br /> • civic and private auditoriums <br /> • community centers <br /> • conference /convention facilities <br /> • meeting halls for clubs and other membership organizations <br /> • places of worship, including limited associated accessory uses (i.e., <br /> religious school activities that are not full -time and residences for clergy), <br /> but excluding full -time schools <br /> • yacht clubs <br /> ORD. #1130 -353 <br /> FORMERLY MUFF # 602 <br />
