08/11/2003 <br />ORIGINAL <br />RESOLUTION NO. 14548 <br />RESOLUTION AMENDING THE STRATEGIC GENERAL PLAN OF THE <br />CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO CHANGE THE LAND USE <br />DESIGNATION FOR 20 AVONDALE AVENUE FROM "LOW DENSITY <br />RESIDENTIAL" TO "HEAVY COMMERCIAL - OFFICE MIXED USE <br />RESIDENTIAL <br />WHEREAS, a proposed amendment to the Strategic General Plan of the City of <br />Redwood City has been presented to this Council to change the Land Use designation <br />for 20 Avondale Avenue from "Low Density Residential' to Heavy Commercial -Office <br />Mixed Use Residential," as further shown on Exhibit "A," which is attached hereto; and <br />WHEREAS, on June 4, 2003, the proposed amendment was reviewed by the <br />Planning Commission of the City of Redwood City and forwarded by the Commission to <br />this Council with a recommendation that the amendment be adopted; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, after public hearing duly noticed and held, desires to <br />amend the General Plan in the manner proposed. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the Strategic General Plan Land Use designation for 20 Avondale <br />Avenue is hereby amended from "Low Density Residential' to Heavy <br />Commercial -Office Mixed Use Residential. <br />2.
