General Plan Amendment <br /> Adopt a Resolution to amend the General Plan as follows: <br /> i. Amend the land use designation of certain properties generally located <br /> immediately outside and south of the Downtown Precise Plan area from <br /> "Mixed Use — Downtown" to "Residential — High Density" and from <br /> "Mixed Use — Downtown" to "Residential — Medium Density Residential "; <br /> ii. Amend the General Plan land use designations of two parcels near the <br /> intersections of Bradford St. /Main St. and Bradford St. /Walnut St. from <br /> "Mixed Use — Downtown" to "Hospital "; and <br /> iii. Amend the Mixed Use — Downtown definition General Plan text as <br /> appropriate so that the Development Standards in the General Plan and <br /> Downtown Precise Plan are consistent with those development <br /> standards recommended for approval by the Planning Commission. <br /> RESOLUTION No. 15088 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN FOR REDWOOD CITY <br /> 4. RDA MINUTE ORDER 11 -02 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY TO <br /> AMEND ARTICLE 60, ZONING MAP NO. 22 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1130, OF THE <br /> REDWOOD CITY ZONING ORDINANCE, AS AMENDED, TO REZONE <br /> PROPERTIES LOCATED WITHIN THE REDWOOD CITY DOWNTOWN PRECISE <br /> PLAN AREA, AS FURTHER DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE, FROM THE <br /> EXISTING ZONING DISTRICTS TO THE PLANNED COMMUNITY DISTRICT <br /> Ms. Jill Ekas, Planning Manager, gave a detailed summary on the process to date <br /> (presentation on file). She introduced and acknowledged the City staff team that has <br /> been working on the plan, which included Tom Passanisi, Dan Zack, Charles Jany, Troy <br /> Evangelho, and other City departmental staff. She noted that various City Commissions <br /> and consultants that have worked on this and some were also present this evening. <br /> The consultants included Wagstaff and Associates, and the Metropolitan Planning <br /> Group. <br /> Mr. Dan Zack, Downtown Development Coordinator, reviewed the staff <br /> recommendations and made a presentation on many aspects of the Downtown Precise <br /> Plan (on file) for Council consideration. Mr. John Wagstaff, Wagstaff and Associates, <br /> presented detailed information on the EIR (Environmental Impact Report), including <br /> review of possible impacts, California Environmental Guidelines, and CEQA (California <br /> Environmental Quality Act) compliance (presentation on file).
