City Council Members Reports of Conferences /Meetings Attended (2). <br /> - Vice Mayor Aguirre recognized Council Member Gee for the Lunar Year event that took <br /> place at the downtown square. She also welcomed City Clerk Vonderlinden back and <br /> thanked Ms. Wong for doing an amazing job filling in. <br /> - Mayor Ira congratulated Council Member Foust, for being reappointed to the <br /> Transportation Authority. Council Member Foust clarified that at the last Council of <br /> Cities meeting there was no Shared Services presentation, as this item got postponed. <br /> -Mayor Ira announced that the Giants will be in town on Feb. 16 showing off their <br /> trophy and all are welcome to attend. <br /> B. City Manager (Oral) Update. <br /> Dr. Bell reported that the Annual Report is available on line as well as a Volunteer <br /> opportunities option on the city's website. The consultant working on Economic <br /> Development has finished interviews and the report will be prepared next. <br /> - Council Member Gee announced the upcoming annual Redwood Shores Homeowners <br /> Meeting. <br /> -Mayor Ira announced that five youth will be here at the meeting of March 7, 2011 to be <br /> honored for being part of the creation of a video "20/20 Vision" <br /> - Council Member Foust wished the speedy recovery of Council Member Pierce and she <br /> adjourned the meeting in memory of Rich Panelli reading a piece prepared by Jerry <br /> Pierce who recalled Mr. Panelli's significant contributions to this community. <br /> C.
