Recognition of Gary Swart, CEO, oDesk Corporation - Jeff Ira, Mayor <br />Mayor Ira recognized Mr. Gary Swart for his contributions to Redwood City and for <br />being an exemplary corporate community member. Mr. Swart shared his positive <br />experiences in having a business in Redwood City. Council Member Foust joined <br />Mayor Ira in this recognition. <br />6. PUBLIC COMMENT AND CONSENT CALENDAR <br />There was no public comment. <br />M/S Foust /Seybert to approve the Consent Calendar. <br />6.1A One Council Member thanked staff for the speed with which this came back and <br />the resulting hybrid model that is beneficial to both cities. She recognized staff and <br />thanked all those involved. Another Council Member acknowledged that the City <br />Manager of San Carlos and Mayor of San Carlos were in the audience. Vice Mayor <br />Aguirre also thanked the neighboring dignitaries for being present. <br />Motion carried 7 -0 by electronic vote. <br />1. Section - Motion(s) <br />A.
