P- z13� � O J�� <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMISSION OF AGREEMENT AND <br /> ELECTION TO PREFUND OTHER POST EMPLOYMENT BENEFITS <br /> THROUGH CALPERS CALIFORNIA EMPLOYER'S RETIREE <br /> BENEFIT TRUST PROGRAM ("CERBT") <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution No. P-2132, entitled "Resolution Establishing Funding <br /> Policy for Postemployment Benefits Other Than Pension," was adopted by the Board <br /> of Port Commissioners of the City of Redwood City (the "Board") on April 13, 2011; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Resolution No. P-2132 directed that an application be made to <br /> the California Employers' Retiree Benefit Trust ("CERBT") for participation in the <br /> CERBT program for the purpose of prefunding the Postemployment Benefits Other <br /> Than Pension ("OPEB") expense and liability of the Port of Redwood City; and <br /> WHEREAS, application for participation in the CERBT program requires, in <br /> part, the approval by the Board of the document provided by CERBT entitled <br /> "California Employer's Retiree Benefit Trust Program ("CERBT") Agreement and <br /> Election of the Port of Redwood City to Prefund Other Post Employment Benefits <br /> Through CaIPERS", (the "DocumenY'). <br /> NOW, THEREFORE; <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF PORT COMMISSIONERS OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The Document shall be attached hereto and shall be incorporated herein. <br /> 2. The Document shall be executed in duplicate and submitted to CERBT in <br /> accordance with the instructions contained therein. <br /> 3.
