1 <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. County will provide the following Engineering services as described for the <br /> <br />El Camino Real Signal Interconnect Improvements: <br /> <br /> a. Site visits to observe work; <br /> b. Maintenance of a written diary of all activity on the project; <br /> c. Determination and maintenance of records of quantities of work <br />performed; <br /> d. Review and approval of monthly progress billings from the <br />contractor; <br /> e. Coordination with Caltrans, other agencies and utilities involved in <br />the project; and <br /> f. Ordering testing as necessary: <br /> g. Prepare contract change orders. <br /> <br /> 2. City agrees to reimburse County, on demand, the total cost incurred by <br /> <br />County, not to exceed $22,000, for said contract adminigtrafion and inspection. It is understood <br />that the total sum to be reimbursed to County shall be determined from the actual costs <br />incurred by the County to perform the contract administration and inspection and this estimate <br />given is for informational purposes only. If the total cost exceeds $22,000.00 or additional <br />work is requested the City agrees to amend this agreement to cover these costs. <br /> <br /> 3. City agrees to perform the following tasks for the projects: <br /> <br /> a. Review and approval of all working drawings and material <br />submittals; <br /> -2- <br /> <br /> <br />
