FXS:djk 08/22/96R (033/70) <br /> <br /> REDWOOD SHORES FIRE STATION AND MAINTENANCE FACILITY <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT made and entered into this day of <br /> <br /> , 1996, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> <br />CITY, a municipal corporation of the State of California, <br /> <br /> ("City"), and DES ARCHITECTS + ENGINEERS, of Redwood City, <br /> <br />California ("Architect"); <br /> W I T NE S S E T H: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to construct a Fire Station and <br />Maintenance Facility at Redwood Shores in the City of Redwood <br />City (the "Project"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Project, the City requires <br />professional architectural services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Architect represents that it possesses the <br />experience, and is qualified, to perform the aforesaid services <br />the Project; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. ARCHITECT'S SERVICES· Architect shall perform <br /> <br /> engineering, design and related services as described in Exhibit <br /> "A" hereof, attached hereto and by this reference incorporated <br /> herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT. City shall compensate <br /> Architect for all services performed (Phases II through IV) by <br /> Architect hereunder in an amount based upon Architect's hourly <br /> rates that are currently prevailing during the time of the <br /> performance of said services. A copy of Architect's hourly rates <br /> for which services hereunder shall be performed are set forth in <br /> <br /> <br />
