WHEREAS, it is now the intention and the desire of staff to purchase one <br />(1) additional generator for City buildings at the unit price of $47,423.24; <br />NOW, THEREFORE; <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br />CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. The purchase of one (1) additional Model 10ODGDB Cummins- <br />Onan Diesel- Driven Electrical Generators for the Parks, Recreation and <br />Community Services Department in the amount of Forty -Seven Thousand Four <br />Hundred Twenty -Three and 24/100 Dollars ($47,423.24), computed in <br />accordance with bidder's proposal dated June 29, 2001, is hereby approved. <br />2. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to enter into <br />and execute on behalf of the City of Redwood City all appropriate and necessary <br />documents (in form approved by the City Attorney) for the purchase of said <br />Portable Emergency Electrical Generator in accordance with the bid awarded on <br />July 23, 2001. <br />14373 <br />F:Atty2001 Shared /Redwood /Council /Reso /Reso-1231 2 <br />
