Saber Sarwary <br /> Engineering Division <br /> City of Redwood City <br /> 1020 Middlefield Road <br /> Redwood City, CA 94064 <br /> <br /> RE: REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL DATED MARCH 11, 1997 <br /> CARSON STREET AND FOOTEILL STREET <br /> ENGINEERING FILE NO. 806-10 <br /> <br /> Dear Mr. Sarwary, <br /> <br /> Thank you for the opportunity to submit this proposal to provide <br /> professional land surveying services for the above-referenced <br /> project. <br /> <br /> SCOPE OF WORK <br /> <br /> The scope of work would be as follows: <br /> <br /> - Plans will be completed with AUTOCAD version 12.0 on plan <br /> and profile mylars with Redwood City title block at a scale <br /> of 1" = 20 feet. A disk of the work will also be provided. <br /> <br /> - The topographic survey shall include all physical features <br /> within the project areas including manholes, valve boxes, <br /> monuments, utility covers, drain inlets, water meters, <br /> cleanouts, hydrants, trees, fences, driveways, poles, signs, <br /> etc. The location of underground utilities will be <br /> approximated using surface features and utility company as- <br /> built plans. <br /> <br /> - The cross-sections will be surveyed on 50-foot stations <br /> along tangents and 25-foot stations on curves. Survey <br /> stations will be shown every 50 feet. Areas starting from <br /> ends of curb return of the surveyed streets extending 20 <br /> feet onto all intersecting streets will also be surveyed. <br /> <br /> - Plans will include all approximate property line <br /> boundaries, right-of-way lines, lot address (per block <br /> book), street centerlines; all existing utility lines, water <br /> and gas services, sewer laterals and invert elevations at <br /> all structues; Also bench mark and control lines.
