The City Clerk is hereby directed to record <br /> with the County Recorder of San Mateo County a notice of the <br /> approval and adoption of the Amendment No. 1 to Redevelopment <br /> Project No. 2 pursuant to this Ordinance containing a description <br /> of the boundaries of the Gateway Sub-Area, as expanded, and a <br /> statement that proceedings for the redevelopment of the Project <br /> No. 2 and for the Amendment No. 1 have been instituted under the <br /> California Community Redevelopment Law. <br /> <br /> SECTION 12. The City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a <br /> copy of this Ordinance, a description of the land within the <br /> Gateway Sub-Area, as expanded, and a map or plat indicating the <br /> boundaries of the expanded Gateway Sub-Area, to the Auditor, <br /> Assessor and Tax Collector of the County of San Mateo, to the <br /> officer or officers performing the functions of auditor or <br /> assessor for any taxing agencies which, in levying taxes, do not <br /> use the County assessment roll, to the governing body of each of <br /> the taxing agencies which levies taxes upon any property in the <br /> Gateway Sub-Area, as expanded, and to the State Board of <br /> Equalization. <br /> <br /> SECTION 13. If any part of this Ordinance, or the Amendment <br /> No. 1 to the Redevelopment Project No. 2 which it approves, is <br /> held to be invalid for any reason, such decision shall not affect <br /> the validity of the remaining portion of this Ordinance, and this <br /> Council hereby declares that it would have passed the remainder <br /> <br /> 12 <br /> <br /> <br />
