0~[~l[[~J~[" AGREEMENT <br /> for <br /> WEATHERIZATION PROGRAM <br /> <br /> (SECOND HARVEST FOOD BANK) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this l1~ day of <br /> [V'~c,¢r..kJ , 1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br /> <br /> municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City"), and SECOND <br /> HARVEST FOOD BANK OF SANTA CLARA AND SAN MATEO COUNTIES, a <br /> California non-profit corporation ("Contractor"); <br /> <br /> WlTNESSETH.' <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor conducts a free food distribution program (the <br /> "Program") for Iow income and elderly residents of the City of Redwood City <br /> ("City"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Contractor has requested financial assistance in order to <br /> install weatherization improvements at its food distribution facility during the <br /> fiscal year commencing July 1, 1996, and ending June 30, 1997; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City has reviewed said request and desires to allocate to <br /> Contractor the sum of Eight Thousand and No/100 Dollars ($8,000.00) from its <br /> Community Development Block Grant funds for the Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the padies hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Financial Assistance.
