1 <br /> <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> <br /> PROFESSIONAL CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION AND TESTING SERVICES <br /> (FIRE STATION, MAINTENANCE FACILITY AND <br /> WATER PUMPING STATION) <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this c~..~ day of <br />~~'x~ , 1997, by and between the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY, a <br />municipal corporation of the State of California, ("City") and SIGNET TESTING <br />LABS, of Hayward, California ("Consultant"); <br /> <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City proposes to construct a fire station, maintenance facility <br /> <br /> and water pumping station in the Redwood Shores area of the City of Redwood <br /> <br /> City (the "Projects"); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in connection with the Projects, the City requires professional <br /> <br /> construction inspection and testing services; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Consultant represents that it possesses the experience, and <br /> <br /> is qualified to perform the aforesaid services for the Projects; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. CONSULTANT'S SERVICES. Consultant shall perform construction <br /> <br /> inspection and testing services as described in Exhibit "A" hereof, attached <br /> <br /> hereto and by this reference incorporated herein. <br /> <br /> 2. COMPENSATION; EXPENSES; PAYMENT.
