EXHIBIT "A" <br /> <br />Signet Testing Labs: <br /> <br />Task Described: Provide special inspection and testing services for the Community <br />Center ProJect in accordance with the agreement for "Professional Construction <br />Inspection and Testing Services (Sandpiper Project) dated March 11, 1997. The <br />additional testing is associated with a Title 24 code requirement for full time inspection <br />on the masonry walls. This exceeds the UBC requirement. In addition retesting of <br />fabricated steel was necessary due to in-plant fabrication errors and added scope of <br />work associated with contract change orders. <br /> <br />Compensation: Compensation is at the unit rates described in your letter dated Jan. <br />23, 1997 (see attached fee breakdown). The Not-to-Exceed Fee summary follows: <br /> <br /> 1. Original Contract $23, 120.50 <br /> 2. Previous Changes $ 4,000.00 <br /> 3. Current Change $15000.00 <br /> 4.
