any other provision of this Agreement to the contrary, immediately <br /> declare a material breach of this Agreement and suspend all <br /> further work pursuant to this Agreement. <br /> <br />6. NON-DISCRIMINATION <br /> <br /> Contractor shall comply with the non-discrimination requirements <br /> described below: <br /> <br />A. Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of t973 <br /> <br /> (1) Pursuant to Section 514 (Public Law 93-112), the Contractor <br /> agrees that no otherwise qualified persons with disabilities <br /> shall, solely by reason of a disability, be excluded from the <br /> participation in, be denied benefits of, or be subjected to <br /> discrimination in the performance of this contract or in the <br /> selection of Iow income owners to purchase the dwelling to <br /> be built on the "property." <br /> <br /> (2) Compliance of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, <br /> as amended, requires that all benefits, aids and services are <br /> made available to persons with disabilities on an equivalent <br /> basis with those received by non-disabled persons. <br /> Contractor shall agree to be in compliance with Section 504 <br /> requirements by developing a plan for compliance to be <br /> submitted to the Section 504 Coordinator as soon as <br /> possible but not later than by the close of escrow for this <br /> acquisition. <br /> <br />B. Affirmative Action. Contractor certifies that it is in <br /> compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity <br /> Requirements of Executive Order No 11246, as amended by <br /> Executive Order No 1375, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of <br /> 1964, the Califomia Fair Employment Practices Act and any <br /> other federal or state laws pertaining to equal employment <br /> opportunity, and that it will not discriminate against any <br /> employee or applicant for employment or opportunity to <br /> purchase the dwelling to be built on the "property." on the <br /> basis of race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, <br /> age, physical or mental disability, marital status, sexual <br /> preference, or political affiliation in matters pertaining to <br /> occupancy, hiring, training, upgrading, transfers, <br /> compensation or termination. <br /> <br />C.
